DIMITRIOS VANGELATOS

Hi, I’m Dimitrios, a frontend software engineer from Greece, currently based in Copenhagen, with over 10 years of experience building web applications.

I specialize in large, complex frontend systems, with a focus on architecture, design systems, and component libraries. I care about building scalable and maintainable foundations that help teams move faster without losing structure or quality.

I place a strong emphasis on accessibility, aiming to build interfaces that are clear, consistent, and usable by as many people as possible. At the same time, I have a strong personal interest in frontend and browser security.

Over the years, I’ve worked in both startups and larger organizations, and I’ve led and mentored small frontend teams/individuals.

I speak English and Greek fluently, and my Danish is improving day by day. Outside of work, I write music, paint, and play padel and i am a father to Carl.
